Men, I Bow to You.

I have a lot of men in my life: four sons, an ex, my father + stepfather, two brothers, a brother-in-law, male teachers + shamans, and many, many dear guy friends. I’ve devoted much of my life to loving and serving the masculine, especially my four precious boys (well, young men, now!). An indescribable force lives within me to help usher the sacred masculine into this New World.

Several years ago I completed two co-ed, year-long Leadership Development Trainings, through which dark shadows and deep wounds were revealed and healed, and rich bonds and solid friendships were cultivated. It was here that I discovered healthy, thriving friendships between men + women are not only possible, but one of my most nourishing and favorite things. At that time, in 2019, I also developed my Life’s Mission statement:

I am a stand for the rising of the Divine Feminine in balance with the Sacred Masculine.

My mission statement has never wavered. Shortly after we graduated from the training, three of my guy friends asked me to write a Love Letter to the masculine for a transformational men’s retreat they were creating. Needless to say, I was an immediate HELL YES! The letter flowed effortlessly, and felt directly channelled from my Higher Self. It was read aloud at the retreat by a woman, a dear friend of mine. I couldn’t attend because I needed to care for my boys. Today, I’m posting this letter for all to read in hopes it will serve in some way, and make for a better day.

Love Letter from the Feminine

My Dearest Gentle Man,

From the bottom of my heart, I thank you. The work you are doing takes courage, and We. Need. You. Yes, you. I need you. My sisters need you. Our daughters need you. Our mothers and grandmothers need you. There has never been a time on Earth that we have needed your gentleness more.

So, gentle man, I so very humbly thank you. Thank you for showing up. Thank you for your bravery. Thank you for opening your heart and revealing its contents to your brothers.  

Thank you for your protection. Thank you for your love. Thank you for your hard work. Thank you for earning money, for being the bread winner. Thank you for letting us be bread winners. Thank you for trying so hard to get it right. Thank you for your protection. Thank you for doing your best to communicate with us. I know we’re crazy sometimes.

It’s a Confusing World in which We Live

Thank you for opening doors for us. Thank you for not opening doors for us. Thank you for empowering us. Thank you for taking the lead and letting us follow. Thank you for opening your mouths and complementing our beauty. Thank you for keeping your mouths shut. Indeed, it is a confusing world in which we live right now. I have so much empathy for you, gentle man.

Thank you for all those nights of sheer frustration. Thank you for your tears. Thank you for your boisterous laughter. Thank you for your soft kisses. Thank you for your tenderness + delicate touch. Thank you for the rough + hard love making when we want it that way. Thank you, dear chameleon. Thank you.

Thank you for all those times you just listened. Thank you for all the times you let me be right, even though we both knew I was not. Thank you for holding me in all my conditions. Thank you for your prayers. Thank you for your songs. I love it when you sing to me. Thank you for your manly hugs, your big hands and the scruff on your face. Thank you, gentle man, for being YOU. I love all of you. You are perfectly imperfect.

We need those eyes to see our true nature.

There is no one else on the planet just like you. And, we need your specific type of magick to spark right now. We need your unique kind of love. We need your bright + clear eyes to melt into. We need those eyes to see + hold our true nature, the Divine Feminine within us.

Oh, YES! You have much to offer, gentle man. With your gentle touch, you move mountains within and for us. It is this work that allows you to do so consciously. We need your Divine Masculine Consciousness. And, we need your humanness, too.

Thank you for taking the road less traveled. It will reap unimaginable rewards. My heart is warm for you with deepest gratitude + compassion. If I were standing before you, I’d trace my fingers as light as a feather around the angles of your face, and through the gaze of my eyes you would feel my pure + unconditional love. Then, I’d kneel at your feet and softly kiss them.

I want you to hear loudly and clearly from me that I FORGIVE YOU for all the wrongs you’ve ever done, at any time, in any place, through all dimensions, lifetimes and aspects of your being. I completely forgive you with zero strings attached. Please let go, and shed these chains of guilt, shame and regret. They no longer serve you, your family, your ancestors or any generation. Breathe in (now, take a deep breath) and gather all of that gunk stuck within + around you, then – with noise as loud as you need it – sigh or yell it out on an exhale. You are free. Just be.

So, once again. I thank you from the depths of my being for doing this work.  

You honor me.  

I honor you.  

I bow to you.  

And, I love you more than any love letter or words could ever express.

Now, continue onward and be that Gentle Man full of Light, Love + Presence that you already are.
